Convention Program and Keynote Announced

The North Carolina Association of Launderers and Cleaners (NCALC) will be holding their 2019 NCALC Annual Convention on October 25-27, 2019 at the Embassy Suites Raleigh Durham Airport Brier Creek, located in Raleigh, North Carolina. The program offers significant value for owners, managers, and key staff of laundry and cleaning operations, and the social events and nearby attractions offer provide lots of interesting activities for everyone, including spouses and significant others.

Our Member Services Committee has been working hard to plan a compelling program for all attendees. On Friday afternoon, attendees will gather for a facilitated roundtable discussion on dry-cleaning equipment technology. The educational program on Saturday will include speakers on employee recruitment and retention, marketing and advertising, plant equipment maintenance, and improving plant production.

The convention will also include lots of opportunities for professional networking and fellowship with friends, table top vendor exhibits, and the annual NCALC membership meeting. The program culminates with the President’s Reception and Recognition Banquet on Saturday evening.

The Raleigh area is home to many attractions including the North Carolina State Capitol, the North Carolina Art Museum, the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, the North Carolina Museum of History, the State Farmers Market, and a variety of shopping venues. Also, note that the Convention coincides with the last few days of the annual North Carolina State Fair.  So plan now to attend the convention and make a little extra time to enjoy some of the many other area activities.

Watch for full program details and registration info soon.
