What: North Carolina Association of Launderers and Cleaners (NCALC) will hold seminars on Wash-Dry-Fold and Packaging at Regency Cleaners in Durham, NC on Saturday morning, August 12, 2023.
Who: Owners and managers of launderers and cleaners are the target audience for these seminars. Members of DLI/NCALC and non-members are invited to participate.

When: Seminar participants will gather about 10am Saturday morning for coffee and networking and the seminars will get underway about 10:30 am. A networking lunch will be provided. All activities are expected to end by 2pm. No other group activities are planned.

About our speakers:
Rita Foley is a first-generation owner of Regency Cleaners in Durham, NC, which is a 6-store operation including laundromats and valet routes. Regency Cleaners was established in 1984. Foley is a past President and currently serves as the Vice President of Government Affairs of NCALC. Rita is also a member of CLA (Coin Laundry Association) and MfM (Methods for Management).
After acquiring the 4-store operation of White Star in 2001, Rita has taken WDF to a new level. She has traveled to numerous meetings and conventions as a speaker on the subject. She has shared her knowledge through videos with DLI and numerous publications in trade magazines. In her free time, Rita enjoys spending time with her grandson, working at various schools and retirement homes with her Therapy Dog: Sailor, and relaxing at the NC Coast with her husband, David.
Hugh West is a graduate of East Carolina University and has 37 years of experience in the laundry and drycleaning industry. West is currently with FabriClean Supply. He has served as the Allied Trade Representative and as a member of the Board of Directors for NCALC. West recently relocated back to eastern North Carolina and now lives in Winterville, NC with his wife Sandy.

Accommodations: We anticipate most of our participants will drive in and return home the day of the seminars. Participants should secure their own overnight accommodations, if needed.
